The Science

12 minutes in the Orange Zone during your workout is all you need to create the Orangetheory afterburn. 

The theory behind Orangetheory is EPOC (Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption). The coach-designed, science-based workout templates aim to produce at least 12 minutes of intense exercise, creating an after-burn effect and increasing your metabolic rate.
